There is currently building work next to the Nightingale Centre. This has resulted in less parking near the building.

If you are coming for a breast screening assessment appointment at the Nightingale Centre at Wythenshawe Hospital, please allow extra time to travel to your appointment.

Thank you

When we screen

When will I get my appointment?

Screening is organised according to your GP practice. Once every three years your GP practice will be contacted and all women eligible for screening will be invited.

You will receive a letter inviting you for breast screening. If you need to rearrange the appointment, please contact us by telephone on - 0161 291 4444
or email

www.bsapts@mft.nhs.uk

The list of who is to be screened is compiled from GP lists so it is important to ensure that your details are correct with your GP Practice.

Women over the age of 70 are encouraged to continue with breast screening but must contact the screening office for an appointment.

If it has been over 4 years since your last breast screening appointment then please contact us.

Please note that if at any time you notice any changes in your breasts or have any breast symptoms of any kind then please contact your GP practice immediately.
